Sales Letter For Resell Rights Product
Since anything that you sell – whether it has your name on it as the author or not – will have an impact on how your customers perceive you, obviously you don’t want to sell any product that isn’t high quality. However, the truth is that you can sell any thing, whether it is of high quality or low quality, if the sales page is good enough.
Unless you can afford to hire a copywriter (they are very expensive), you should consider taking a copywriting course. Ideally, you should select a course written by someone who has made their living from copywriting.
These courses are costly, but not nearly as expensive as the services of the copywriter – and in the long run, failing to take the course will most likely result in lost money from unmade sales. Do yourself a favor and invest in a good copywriting course!
With that said, there are some basic copywriting techniques that you will want to use in your sales letter. There are numerous different experts that will give you different information about what to include in a sales letter, and while there are so many different opinions, there are some things that all experts agree upon.
You need a good headline. As an advanced marketer, this is probably something that you already know. You want a headline and a sub-headline that captures the customer’s attention. It should address a problem that is related to your product in some way – for which your product is the solution.
You also need to touch on the senses a bit, and write the sales letter in a way that addresses people’s common desires. Everybody wants to be smarter, richer, and better looking. Your sales letter should convince readers that your product is going to do at least one of those three things for them. At the same time, you want to avoid hype. Hype turns people off, and most people can now spot it a mile away.
The sales letter should include bullet points, and it should be ‘scannable.’ This means that certain words should jump out from the page at the reader. You do this by highlighting words and making them bold.
Your sales page should also have a full money back guarantee. As you know, this is a very important aspect of the sales page, and when a refund is requested, it should be immediately issued, with no questions asked.
Again, as an advanced marketer, you probably already know these basics for copywriting, and if you have not taken a full copywriting course, this is something that you should definitely consider – because it does mean the difference between being successful and unsuccessful. Furthermore, with resell products, the sales letter and your marketing methods are what set you apart from the other resellers of that product – because the product and the product title are the same as what those other resellers are selling. Therefore, you must have a top-notch sales page.
Many resell products and private label rights products come with a sales page. You can use that sales page, and there are usually instructions for making the necessary changes to the sales page – such as replacing the order button with your own order button. However, in today’s flooded markets, this is no longer enough.
Like a PLR product, when you are finished with your sales page, it shouldn’t resemble the sales page that arrived with the product. This doesn’t mean that you can’t use it as a guideline. You can rewrite the sales page, and it can say the exact same thing, using different words. This is usually a quick and easy process, and does not require a great deal of copywriting skill – as long as the sales page was professional written in the first place.
However, changing the words may not be enough either. Change the color scheme as well. If it is allowed, change the ecover for the product. As long as the name of the product and the product itself are not being changed, this is not usually a problem. Make your ecover for that product different from everyone else’s.
Test at least two different sales pages for your product to see how well the sales copy is working for you. Test just one feature of the sales page at a time. For example, have two identical sales pages, but change the headline on one of them. After you’ve determined which headline pulls in the most sales, change another element of the sales page. Keep working your way down the page until you have the best possible sales page for the product.
Change the sales page to include your own bonus offers. Make sure that you include a description, a value, and a box shot of the cover for the bonus products. Make them an important part of your offer.
Again, the quality of the product does indeed matter, because it is ‘connected’ to you in your customer’s minds. At the same time however, success is not so much about what you are selling as it is about how you are selling it.
If you want the best possible results, for the least amount of money, go ahead and invest in a good course that will help you to produce top quality sales copy. The course may be costly, but in the end, the sales that you make from great sales copy will pay you back over and over again.
