customers: resell rights.
Resell Rights as a Bonus
When you buy a product that you are looking to sell again, you will buy either
regular resell rights or master resell rights. With regular resell rights, you
can sell the product again, but the person(s) to whom you sell the product may
not turn around and sell it themselves. Master resell rights, on the other hand,
allow you to offer your customers the right to sell the product again, if you
choose to offer that. As you probably already know, products with resell rights
tend to be of a higher value than those without resell rights, so people are
more inclined to buy them.
If you are selling an ebook, resell rights can be particularly valuable. They
can also open your product up to not just those who want to read the ebook, but
also those who want to buy it and then sell it for profit. If you tell them that
if they buy the ebook, they'll get resell rights as a bonus, they'll be very
interested in making the purchase. Offering resell rights is a great form of a
product bonus and is one that is sure to increase sales.
Other Bonuses
Of course, if you don't want to use resell rights as a bonus, you don't have to.
You may decide, for instance, to include a short 10 page ebook as a bonus in
addition to the big, main ebook. Or, if your ebook is a self-help guide, you
might include a workbook as a bonus. Really, the possibilities are endless, so
be sure to think things through.
