So you already have a list you say?
Great.
How often are you contacting them? Daily? Weekly? Monthly? Sporadically?
When it comes to how often you contact your list, one of the keys is consistency. If you typically contact your subscribers every week on Monday morning, then people are going to start to expect that email from you on Mondays.
The next important thing to remember is that the majority of people don't contact their lists often enough. Sure, if you contact your people more frequently some people are going to unsubscribe because they think you're contacting them too often. However, that's not a bad thing and those people are in the minority.
The benefit you get is that your subscribers remember who you are, and your emails get read more often. Also, the more often you contact people, the more likely it is you'll make a connection with them.
So what's the ideal frequency that you should contact your list.
Well, there's no simple answer, and to decide this for yourself you should definitely test it.
But here's where I'd recommend you start - 3 times a week. I've seen marketers who send out emails almost everyday and even some who send out emails multiple times a day so don't be afraid to test more frequently.

In my last post I explained how some big name marketers are making a killing with resell rights simply because they have an email list.
But what if you don't have a list?
Well, you need to get one.
And, no, buying one isn't something I recommend doing - usually when you try to buy a list, it's far more trouble than it's worth.
What you need to do is build your own list of people who look forward to hearing from you.
But first things first, let's talk about how to get people to actually opt-in to your newsletter.
While there are numerous ways to do this, two of the most effective ways to do this are with blatant bribery and with what's called a reverse squeeze page.
First, bribery - offer yoru subscribers something of value in exchange for their valuable email address - some examples are free reports, free e-courses (just remember you want it to be something you could sell, otherwise you'll have trouble giving it away for free.)
Second, the reverse squeeze page. This simply involves have high quality content on your pages (which you can see in action all over Resell Rights Professional) and then at the bottom asking them to opt-in for your newsletter if they like the information they received.
Really want to see this become effective - combine the two methods - give away free content in a reverse squeeze page, then offer a free report or course of some kind that builds upon what you already gave away, and watch the quality and quantity of your opt-ins skyrocket.
So there you have it - two ways to start getting people to opt-in to your list. The money's in the list as they say so go out there and start building your own.
