Finding Your Niche - There's Riches In Niches

One thing I see a lot of beginners making when they decided to get started with Internet Marketing is they immediately try to start selling "make money online" type products.

I'll be honest with you, the majority of people who start selling those "make money" products fail to ever turn a profit.  So don't think that just because you see a lot of these type of products being sold that everyone is making a killing from it.

Instead, what'd I'd recommend to you is to find a niche where there is less competition and less sophisticated marketing occurring.

For example, do you love parrots?  If so, you could start a site about parrots and create products about how to teach your parrot to talk and how to care for a parrot.

One simple trick I've used in the past for finding niches that I'm interested in working in is to simply sit down and make a list of activities I do and then to make a list of the things I spend money on.  You're bound to find a lot of ideas just by making those two lists.  Once you've found one or two that you are most passionate about, go ahead and start a business in that area.

If down the road you find that you've done really well and want to write your own guide to making money online once you know how, then by all means, proceed.  I would just recommend not starting with those products until you're a seasonsed marketer.  I just want to save you the frustration of entering one of the most competitive markets online when you're new and don't know what you're doing.
